It's official - BRIGHTLY Ever After is jumping on the bandwagon folks. I'm absolutely head-over-heels in love with Pantone's 2017 color of the year, Greenery. And my wheels are turning with beautiful greenery wall ideas for our 2017 brides, grooms and special event clients!

In general, I've never been a "Green" person... I'm a Blue person. A passionate lover of all things blue, calming, clean and pristine. But lately, my relationship with blue has gone stale... I needed something more. Something new and exciting to fill my love tank. And I've found it in the arms of Something Green...
I grew up on Honolulu, Hawaii, surrounded by lush greenery. Tropical plants have always had a special place in my heart, but that love fell by the wayside living in Washington, D.C. for so long - the land of boxwood, cherry blossoms and peonies started playing with my emotions...
But some loves never die. Last September when my husband, Greg, and I traveled back to the North Shore of Oahu for a beautiful Hawaiian wedding and my love affairs with tropical greenery was rekindled. There is just something about being surrounded by Greenery, and A LOT of it, that makes me feel alive. Lush greenery brings weddings and events to life in the best and most unexpected way. A Greenery Wall in particular brings the feel of the most succulent tropical vacation to any celebration. One more cocktail on the lanai at sunset before I dance the night away... (never mind the fact that I'm in this Tysons Corner Ballroom.)

At BRIGHTLY Ever After, we're in the process of creating a slew of new flower walls for rent in Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland - and I have a feeling one of our most popular walls will be our new "Something Green" wall, which will make its debut in Spring 2017. We're talking 8 glorious feet of ferns, foliage, tropical plants, succulents and more. I know, I know, you want the Greenery Wall NOW! Well, I promise it'll be worth the wait. The best things always are...
