Where is BRIGHTLY Ever After Based?


BRIGHTLY Ever After is a family-owned business based in Falls Church, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C., in the United States. All of our creative props are handmade in our Falls Church Studio or in the BRIGHTLY workshop in Alexandria, Virginia.

What is your delivery area?


Because of the size and custom nature of many of our props and backdrops, most clients request delivery and installation. 


Delivery is available within 60 miles of our Falls Church Studio and is based on availability. Delivery outside that area is available on a case-by-case basis and will incur additional fees.


Delivery fees are based on the event location and the type of vehicle needed. Delivery within 10 miles of the 20042 zip code in included in our base delivery fee. A mileage fee is added outside that radius. Late-night pickup and rush-hour requests are based on availability, but may incur an additional fee.


Can I pick up my rental?


Pick up from the BRIGHTLY Falls Church Studio is available for our neon signs, marquee letters, flamingos and other smaller items as well! Our standard pick up hours are Wednesday-Friday from 9am-4pm. Items must be picked-up in a secure vehicle and all items must be in the enclosed portion of your vehicle. If a last minute delivery if requested, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Flower wall pickup is not currently available.


Unfortunately, our Flower Walls and 4' Marquee Letters are not available for shipment due to their size and weight.


How Far in Advance Should I Book? 


If you love it, reserve it as soon as possible. Because we're a small family business, we are limited in the number of events we can do each week. Due to the popularity of our props, availability is subject to change at any point. We are booking events up to a year in advance, but most requests come in 4-6 months prior to an event. Items cannot be held until a reservation deposit is made. Reservations require a 25% deposit, with the balance of your invoice due one month prior to your event date.


Can your flower walls and marquee letters be placed outside?


BRIGHTLY Ever After’s props are for indoor or outdoor use, but they are not made to withstand inclement weather. If outdoor use is preferred, props must be moved inside overnight, or pickup is required immediately after the event (late night pickup will incur an additional fee). Should bad weather or wind become an issue, we may have to make a difficult call to deny outdoor placement for safety reasons. BRIGHTLY Ever After has final approval on all prop placement.


Can your 4’ Marquee Letters be placed on grass?

While a sturdy, flat surface is strongly preferred, our marquee letters can be placed on grass if necessary. The letters will need to be staked into the ground to ensure their ability to stand upright. Please indicate the need for grass placement when booking, and check with your venue about any special policies they have for their grounds.


Yes. Only our laser-cut marquee signs have the option of battery power. 


Each of our 4' Marquee Letters is individually wired, giving you the freedom to place and space your letters any way you heart desires. Extension cords connect the letters as needed, requiring only one standard 120V power outlet.

Our LED neon signs also require a standard 120V power outlet. They come with a remote control so you can control brightness and twinkle options.


Sure! If you want to bring a splash of color to your party decor, we offer our faceted LED globe bulbs in a rainbow of colors, including: red, pink, purple, blue, green, orange and yellow. We can event do an ombre effect!

Can I purchase your 4’ marquee letters?


Our 4’ marquee letters are not currently available for purchase. They are handmade with love by BRIGHTLY Ever After owner Garrette and her amazing Dad, Stafford. The small size of our family business currently prohibits mass production. We do offer amazing custom laser-cut marquee signs for purchase!


What if I damage or lose an item?


We know you’ll treat your BRIGHTLY props with love and care, but we are realists. We understand that small, easily fixable issues are a sign your event was a success (think cocktail glass rings, small paint scratches, or a missing silk flower.) The renter assumes full responsibility for items upon possession. If an item is returned damaged (or not returned at all), and the cost of repair (or replacement) exceeds $25, a damage or replacement fee will be charged. This also goes for props not responsibly protected by client from inclement weather.


Are you insured?


Yes, we are fully insured! Proof of insurance and COI can be sent to you or your venue upon request.
